Overview
Ishang sells fish on the street with her mother, who is determined to afford Ishang’s dental braces and a better life. Eventually, Ishang begins to notice unsettling changes in her body, feeling as if she transformed into the very fish they sell—and realizing she may not be so different from them after all.
